Highlights from Olympia Beauty Art of Makeup Competition

The past two days at the Olympia Beauty Show was absolutely amazing. Very nerve wrecking at first but it became a no-brainer.  The contestants from both Nailympics and Art of Makeup Competition were truly very creative and talented and it was just simply spectacular. I was so honored and privileged to be among the very best in the Makeup and Beauty Industry such as Louise Page the inspiration behind the competition, Natasha Booth Editor-in-chief of FACEON Magazine a luxury make-up glossy, Eryca Freemantle International Ambassador for Breast Without Spots (BWS a breast cancer charity), Patron to Sodje Sports Foundation (SSF), Patron of VISTAF Vitiligo Support and Awareness Foundation, West Africa. (A Qualified Paramedical & Camouflage Corrective Specialist with the British Association of Skin Care) (WOW),  Julia Townend Body Painter extraordinaire and Lecturer at my old college West Thames College London, Louise Young Makeup Artist and Businesswoman, Miss Hollie Wakeham Professional Celebrity Hair & MUA Nails & Beauty, Zoe Walters Makeup Artist, TV Presenter Lizzie Cundy and the ‘Queen of Eyebrows’ Nilam Patel Dermaspa Creator of HD Brows to name a few. There were just so many to name.

We enjoyed the various makeup and nail demos especially ‘An audience with Eryca Freemantle’.

I even got the chance to see PAPERSELF lashes up close & personal. They are the most creative falsies I have ever seen !Would you ever wear them ?

And to top it all off with not just a cherry on top, I was the Art of Makeup Best Newcomer 2012 Winner. So ecstatic and over the moon right now. Still taking it all in. Made so many contacts and have a few things booked. Up up up and awayyyyyyyyy. I love my fabulous prizes from New CID Cosmetic, Kryolan, Airbase, Louise Young, Crown Brush, Sleepin RollersVictoria Loves B and many other sponsors. It was also a team effort so I have to say a massive thank you to the awesome hairstylists Michaela Samuels and my awwww so beautiful and gorgeous model Simara Dixon. She definitely made the look out of this world and killed it. Here a few photos courtesy of myself, Danny Bailey of Simply-Symbolic photography, Baobella and Michaela.

Check this pic courtesy of Baobella showcasing some very extreme nail art from the Nailympics.

Do enjoy as I surely did. It was fun : )
